Non-contact healthcare platform

Bring the barrier to measuring down to zero —and help solve Japan's healthcare and social challenges.

METRIA measures without contact; QOLL-Med sees inside the clinic. We connect pre-symptomatic care through to medicine, extending healthy life expectancy and easing the burden on the clinical frontline.

SCROLL

A non-contacthealthcare platform

Taking on Japan's healthcare and social challenges through two pillars — METRIA, which measures without contact, and QOLL-Med, which sees within the clinic.

VISION

Connecting prevention through to care,on a single platform.

  1. TARGET 01

A society where prevention happens naturally, as part of everyday life.

  2. TARGET 02

A network that reaches the care you need, wherever you are.

  3. TARGET 03

A society that improves quality of life without added burden, and closes health disparities.

SOCIAL ISSUES / WHY NOW

The healthcare and socialchallenges Japan faces.

Japan's clinical frontline is reaching the limits of a model that depends entirely on the manpower of its care providers.

  1. 01

    Medical scarcity and unequal access

In rural and mountainous regions, a shortage of both facilities and physicians — compounded by shrinking public transport — makes reaching a clinic itself a physical and financial burden. Too few people have an easy way to notice early signs of illness or to act on prevention.

  2. 02

Rising costs and pressure on the working generation

Reactive medicine — treating illness only after onset or aggravation — is fiscally hard to sustain in a super-aged society. Approaches that extend healthy life expectancy and keep the body independent, financially as well as physically, are lacking.

  3. 03

    Overwork among care providers

From acute to chronic care — including rehabilitation, home care and nursing — providers face excessive workloads and a growing fear of missing something. Infrastructure that eases the manpower burden while preserving quality of care is urgently needed.

  4. 04

The missing lifelong PHR (the blank years)

After the maternal-and-child handbook, roughly 10–15 years of school-age data go unrecorded. Without longitudinal data there is no lifelong personal health record — and the accuracy of predicting adult lifestyle diseases and dementia cannot improve.

MESSAGE

Make measuring an everyday part of society.

Japan's healthcare has been sustained by the dedication of its care providers. But as aging and medical scarcity advance, medicine that only treats after onset can no longer carry the load alone.

At METRIA, starting from non-contact measuring technology, we aim for a society where anyone can access prevention and self-care with ease. We advance real-world implementation without overstating the technology — building on solid evidence.
